I had Pauline Miller for my teacher. She always seemed strict and strong. Because of her, I also tried out and got a small part in the Junior play, a confidence building experience. Not having the opportunity to go to college until four years after high school, I always credited her for giving me strong skills so that I was able to test out of the university freshman English class, even after having been out of school that long. I

Aunt Pauline was always a constant for me. She was my teacher in jr/sr high and a friend whenever I needed one. She will be missed alot.

Pauline was my English teacher until I graduated in 1978; I thoroughly enjoyed her teaching and personality. She instilled a love for grammar to the point that I am teaching English and loving every minute of it! I saw her in the grocery store a few months ago where we talked about her coming to my newly-purchased house for tea. She told me she had gone there every day have tea with her dear friend Wilma and missed that very

I was a student of Pauline's during high school. She always had a smile on her face. Her classes were interesting and the positive classroom environment was one in which you wanted to learn.

In addition, I worked with Pauline at the Lenox Public Library during the summer when I was in high school & college.

I hadn't seen her for many years and didn't know that she wasn't living in Lenox any more.

My condolences to your family.

I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to Pauline's family. I first met Pauline as we worked together on a state committee of Delta Kappa Gamma. Over the years, our paths crossed at many DKG functions. She was a delightful lady. May your own special memories of Pauline give you comfort.

Dear Mrs. Miller, What an inspiration you were to me and my fellow students. Personally,I have so many memories of all the work, time , encouragement, guidance and education that you shared with me throughout my high school years and all the speech and drama that we did under your superb, and firm guidance. I shared with you many times how you influenced my life, and how I have been able to influence so many other young people, all because

I am so sorry to hear that Pauline passed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I just loss my father 3 months ago and I know its hard to lose a loved one. I had Pauline as my English teacher and I always admired her. She took me on my first Euroupean trip when I was a junior in high school (1980). Since then I have been back 4 times. She introduced me to a whole new world. May god bless her and her family.

I am so sorry for your loss of Pauline, your family is in our prayers and our hearts ache for you, may god help you all through your path ahead. Pauline was in many parts of my life, from not such a star student to part of the Miller family. She was the only reason I passed English. I would have loved to talk genealogy with her!! If she would have taught genealogy I would have been a much better student. She will be missed.
