Just recently I learned the sad news of Mr. Robinson's passing. I regard him among the best teachers, if not the best teacher, at Malvern High School during my years growing up there. I always enjoyed his classes - even the one particular elective I took during senior year that only had 3 of us enrolled!

He had a great way of taking the subjects he taught - History, Civics, Law, Government - ones that most teenagers would consider dry, dull

My great memories of Gee are from our days in Malvern High School. I was a grade ahead of Gee, but he was one of those good guys that was always fun to be around. I see by his picture here, he never lost that great smile. I'm sure you have many happy memories to share of him. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Liz, Brad, Ward and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Coach Robinson. I'm thankful that I got to see him last summer. He was a great teacher and coach, and he will be missed by so many. You're in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days to come.

Mr. Robinson was one of the best teachers I ever knew. He was a very gifted teacher but most important he CARED about every student. My prayers are with you Liz and

Dear Liz and Family, We are so sorry that Gee has had a long, rough road with his illness....we send all of you our sincere sympathy. We had so many good times with you guys -- and loved having Brad and Ward play ball in our backyard with Jeff and Randy!!! Fun times!!! And Randy always playing at your house!!! Best friends!!! Also, we remember the great times at school and sports with all of you!!! Take care.....

Mr. Robinson is one of my favorite teachers I've had...teachers like Gee are why I majored in education myself. His sense of humor and easy going personality are what I'll remember most as a past student. Working at the Country Club, I could always count on Gee being one of the first golfers on the course in the morning...greeting me with his one of a kind smile each time. I'll think of him often when I look up into the balcony at church where he and Liz always sat.

My Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Coach Robinson was a good guy. I will never forget the day he thought we were slacking in softball practice...he got so mad at all of us he threw the bat out to the outfield and barked a few things. We were all afraid to talk to him. 10minutes later he was laughing his awesome laugh and cheering us all on. He was never one to stay mad and always worked on making everyone the best they could be.

I have so many memories of Coach Robinson and the Robinson household, all positive! It was a second home and I was always welcome. New year's eve, ballgames in the basement....and the day Iowa came back and beat Illinois after being down 20 points. My most notable memory of Mr. Robinson was his laugh, always positive.
No doubt there were many days when Coach wanted to "chew the rear end" of the little kids shooting on the sideline during practice....I

Gee was extremely witty and had a great sense of humor. He was a master of the one-liner and could quickly come up with a saying to fit just about any situation. We never tired of talking basketball and were always looking for ways to become "unstoppable". It was a privilege to share his friendship!
