Graveside services for Delores Clary, age 87, of Clarinda, Iowa, who entered into peace Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, Iowa, will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Clarinda Cemetery with Kris Davies officiating. Visitation with the family will be held 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa. Burial will be in the Clarinda Cemetery, Clarinda, Iowa. Delores Maxine Clary was born May 22, 1925, in Clarinda, Iowa to George A. Johnson and Grace (Morris) Johnson. She was a life long resident of Clarinda and attended Clarinda Schools. Delores was united in marriage to Cedric E. Clary and they later divorced. Two children were born to this union; Danny and Patricia.
Delores' working career included working at Bishops, Super Value, Clary's Shoe Repair as co-owner with her husband and she retired from the Lisle Corporation. She enjoyed watching television, playing cards and eating out with her friends.
Preceding Delores in death were her parents, George and Grace Johnson and brother, Cecil Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Danny Clary of Clarinda, Iowa; Patricia Gray Roberts and husband Randy of Glenwood, Iowa; brother, Wayne Johnson and wife Lois of Clarinda, Iowa; nieces; nephews and many friends.
Delores will be missed by her family and friends.
Her memory will live on in their hearts.
