Graveside services for Eric Pace Gray, age 36, of Corning, Iowa, who entered into peace Friday, September 2, 2011 at Corning, Iowa, will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at North Grove Cemetery, rural Clarinda, Iowa with Pastor Deborah Rivers officiating. Friends and family will meet at 2:00 p.m. at Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa to proceed to the cemetery. Burial will be in the North Grove Cemetery, rural Clarinda, Iowa. Memorials may be given in Eric's name. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on our website at, www.ritchiefuneralhome.com

Eric Neil Gray was born February 27, 1975, in Alamosa, Colorado, to Gregory Alan Pace and Elizabeth (Smith) Pace. Eric and his twin brother Alan were the first twins born in the Alamosa hospital. Eric grew up in Clarinda and attended Clarinda Community Schools and obtained his GED in Denison, Iowa.

Eric was self employed and worked in many capacities including painting and bartending and he also had worked at the Hy-Vee grocery in Corning. He was a very caring person and loved to help people. Eric especially liked to help people afflicted with brain injuries and the mentally challenged. He had a big heart and had many friends. Eric was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews and he loved to be with family. A favorite pastime was playing golf.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Gary Gray; grandparents, Arthur and Mary Gray; uncles, Russell Gray, Kyle Gray, Jack Stickler; Aunt, Gail Gray Thurman.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Beth Gray of Villisca, Iowa; father, Gregory Pace and wife Vicki of Monte Vista, Colorado; twin brother, Alan Gray of Council Bluffs, Iowa; half brothers, Matt Pace of Monte Vista, Colorado and Josh Pace of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Kerri Pace of Villisca, Iowa; sister, Jennifer Montagne and husband Kirk of Omaha, Nebraska; niece, Jessica McCuen and husband Junior of Villisca, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many friends.

Eric will be greatly missed by his family and friends,
but his kindness and love will remain in their hearts forever.
May God grant comfort to those who mourn his passing.
