Graveside services for Michael Tritsch, age 63, of Clarinda, Iowa, who entered into peace Friday, June 14, 2012 at his residence in Clarinda, Iowa, will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Elmwood Cemetery, Coin, Iowa with Reverend Andrew Rubenking officiating. Visitation with the family will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21 at Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Coin, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to Clarinda Foundation or to the Red Oak YMCA. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on our website at, www.ritchiefuneralhome.com under Obituaries. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ritchie Funeral Home of Clarinda, Iowa.

John Michael Tritsch was born March 23, 1949, in Shenandoah, Iowa to Myron Tritsch and Doris (Christensen) Tritsch. He grew up in the Coin, College Springs area graduating from South Page High School in 1969.

Following high school, Mike lived in Omaha, Red Oak and most recently in Clarinda. While living in Omaha, he worked in the laundry at the University of Nebraska Hospital. Mike was a member of the Presbyterian Church while living in Red Oak and currently a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarinda. He enjoyed the Red Oak YMCA and the Clarinda Lied Center. Mike was a collector of toy tractors. He also enjoyed the fellowship of the various coffee groups that he attended.

Preceding Mike in death was his mother, Doris Tritsch.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Myron Tritsch of Clarinda, Iowa; brothers, Steven Tritsch and wife Melissa of Lenexa, Kansas and David Tritsch and wife Debbie of Council Bluffs, Iowa; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and many friends.

Mike will be missed by his family and friends;
But his memory will live on in their hearts.
May God grant comfort and peace to those who mourn his passing.
